U-Ch. Istari Midnight Sun



Edward went to 4 UKC show where he was Reserve Winners Male (to kennel mate Sunnyvale Fright Night) at 3 shows and Winners Male, Best of Winners and Best Of Breed at one show. Two weekends later, it was Edward's turn to finish his UKC championship.

Edward was Winners Dog & Best of Opposite Sex for his first 2 AKC points at the Canada Del Oro show 3/27/2010. The judge was Izumi Awashima. He followed this up the next day with Winners Dog, Best of Winners under judge Katie Gammill.

U-Ch. Istari Viva La Diva!



Diva spent her 3rd birthday at the UKC shows. As if a birthday wasn't enough to celebrate, she finished her UKC championship. She was Winners Female, Best of Winners, Best of Breed & Group 2 under Eskie breeder judge Judy Jones and followed up with Winners Female, Best of Breed and Group 1 under judge Debbi Orwen.


U-Ch. Sunnyvale Fright Night



With our Christmas shopping finished, we decided to enter the UKC show December 12 & 13, 2009 - where Boo promptly finished his UKC championship. He was Winners Male under judge Judy Jones and Winners Male, Best of Winners, Best of breed and Group 2 under judges Debbie Orwen and Jim Jones.


U-Ch. Istari Sapphire Mist



Mist finished her UKC championship very quickly in February 2008. She is also half way to her AKC championship.


'PR' Sierra The West Wing

Jed began his AKC show career with a bang. He was Winners Dog and Best of Breed at both Lost Dutchman KC shows February 2009. The judges were Mr. Arley D. Hussin and Mr. Ralph (Sonny) Ambrosio. Jed won a second competition win at the UKC show February 15th. Only one more to go for his UKC championship. Jed was Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Breed at the Scottsdale Dog Fanciers Association March 1st. This was a major win under judge Mrs. Ruth Zimmerman.

Crash at 7 months

Keith took Crash to the UKC shows this January to get him some ring practice before the Sheltie specialty show next weekend. And, they did great! Keith and Crash were Winners Male, Best of Winners, Best of Breed and placed in the Herding Group each show.


Ch. Shenell Istari Jasmin Legacy

Although it was pouring rain at the Chaparral Kennel Club on Sunday, October 5, 2008, it was a great day for Jamie. Judge Lester Mapes awarded her Winners Bitch, Best of Winners to finish her AKC championship. She was handled by her breeder/coowner, Janell Lowman.

Nick



Nick finished his UKC championship with 4 competition wins and a Best In Multiple Breed Show from Arlene Grimes. He finished his AKC championship with three majors.

Nick temporarily relinquished his couch potato status for the show ring. He was awarded Best Of Breed by Sheltie breeder-judge Joyce Van Kirk at the Kachina KC all breed show.


U-Ch. Istari White Shoulders

Ava



Ava began her UKC career as a youngster in April of 2005. Then we waited until she was mature to bring her back out to the shows. She was Winners Female to finish her championship.


AKC Ch. & U-Ch. Istari Deja Voodoo

Voodoo and Wendy Melnick



Voodoo was Winners Bitch under well known judge Keki Kahn for a HUGE 5 point major! That same evening, Judge Joan Czarnyska awarded Voodoo her second major at the American Eskimo Dog Club of America regional specialty show. This finished her AKC championship.


Voodoo was Best of Breed and Non-Sporting Group 1 under judges A. D. Hussin and Dr. Wanda Spediacci; and, was Best of Breed and Group 3 at the Greeley KC Saturday show under judges Carolyn Herbel and Ellen Fetter. She was also Best of Breed and Group 4 at the Buckhorn Valley KC Sunday show under judge Robert Caviness.


Voodoo received an invitation to the prestigious AKC Eukanuba National Championship!


Voodoo finished her UKC championship in 2 weekends of shows. She has now retired to couch potato status.


Sunnyvale Silver Springs

Stevie and Beki Vale



Stevie returned to the show ring after her January litter. Her first weekend out at the Roswell, NM shows she was Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, Best of Breed and Herding Group 3. Stevie was handled by her breeder, coowner, Beki Vale. The judge was Dr. Robert D. Smith. She also was awarded Reserve Winners Bitch by Mrs. Godek at the Sahuaro State KC show.

Gossip & Rebecca Porter



Eight year old Gossip came out of retirement and completed her UKC Championship in 4 shows.

Rumour and Wendy Melnick



Rumour finished his AKC championship and then completed his UKC championship by winning four back-to-back Best Of Breed awards handled by his co-owner, Beki Vale. In addition to this, he has earned several AKC Best of Breed and Group placements. Thanks to Andra Williams, Rumour has also been trained and competed in NADAC and AKC agility. As you can see, this duo has earned several agility titles together.


U-Ch. Karashome Moonbeam At Istari



Myah was Winners Female under judges Susan Nikkel, Arlene Grimes and Anna Harris to finish her UKC championship.


U-Ch. Istari Blues Clues

Clue and Beki Vale



Clue was Winners Male, Best of Winners and Best of Breed under judge Ron Sacca and earned his second UKC competition win by going was Winners Male and Best of Winners under judge Debbie Orwin. He followed this up by finishing his UKC championship with back-to-back Winners Male, Best of Winners and Best of Breed wins under judges Jim and Judy Jones. Both Beki Vale and Rebecca Porter had a hand in earning this title.


AKC Ch. & U-Ch.Sierra's Athena



Whooptie Doo! Athena was Best Female at the NAEDA National Show! We are thankful that judge, Debbie Mitchell found her worthy of this honor. Athena was Winners Female, Best of Winners under judge Arlene Grimes finish her UKC championship. She followed this up by winning the Champions class under Sandra Drake the next day.


U-Ch. Istari Kapalani Alpine Lace



Lacey won three back-to-back Best Female awards and a Best Of Winners to complete her UKC championship in one weekend. She did this handled by her co-owner, Vera Riggs. Lacey followed up her UKC wins by earning Winners Bitch and Best Of Breed at all five Coyote Cluster shows in Arizona handled by our daughter, Rebecca.
